Ton's  Puzzel building
All you want to know about Rubik's Puzzle building, collecting and speedcubing. If you want to build variation of the Rubik's cube like a 2x2x3,2x2x4,2x2x6 up to an extended 7x7x7 than this is the place! I am a true Rubik's collector, puzzle builder and speedcuber, so in short a Rubik's fan. I also sell  Collectibles and speedcubes for the collectors and speedcubers. These pages are part of the www.speedcubing.com site! Did you know that the first Rubik's Cube was  made of wood!

Fused 3x3x3 2 Layer and Skewboid
The 46222 Rhomic Dodecahedron (Cube 46222) is based on the ideas of Geert Hellings' 2x2x4 and 2x2x6 cuboid modifications the K-Ball KB32 from Sal Khoudary and the Rhomic Dodecahedron from Laurent.
4x4x4 Rhomic Dodecahedron, This is a 4x4x4 in the form of a Rhomic Dodecahedron 12 regular sides), for this puzzle I choice to cut the corner and edges and make only a buildup on the centers. It is possible to build-up on a hole face, but than the puzzle would become very large.   This shape is easy to make, the cuts are at an angel of 45 degrees, and four faces connecting at there point form a square, so it has also 90 degree angles.
2x2x3, puzzle was build form a keychain Rubik's cube as kernel and I used 3x3x3 cubies for the outside. The method is based on the method described on Tony Fisher's Cuboid 3x3x3 Transformations. I optimized the building method; I do not need to build special parts. I used a keychain kernel and normal 3x3x3 Cubies for parts
2x2x4, This 2x2x4 was build from two 2x2x2 Rubik's Cube and 8 center pieces from a 4x4x4 revenge. I used a concept of Wayne Johnson (Twisty). And updated it with Jake Rueth concept for a 2x2x4, you only need two 2x2x2 and a bit of milliput, see pictures in this article

2x2x6, The 2x2x6 is invented and described by Geert Hellings. I used two 4x4x4 Rubik's Revenge (Master) cube for the parts. I did some experiment with a low power solder iron (15Watt) and plastic from a revenge. I filled the caps between the cubies of a 4x4x4. This might also work to build the wall cube. I use the solder iron to melt the plastic and fill the cap.
3x3x2, This puzzle was build form a normal 3x3x3 Rubik's cube as kernel,  used the 3x3x3 axle and cut down the top and bottom part, the extensions on the axle are the old centre's and I cut them in two halves. Two 1mm x 20mm steel needle pins are used to support the extensions on the axle.
