During European Rubik’s Cube Championship 2012 the opencubeware system MAY be used.

Opencubeware makes it possible to automatically take the result from the Stackmat timer and send it to the central score taker.
Some advantages of opencubeware are:

• instant update of the results on the scoreboard
• fewer errors from writing the results on the score sheets
• fewer errors from taking the results from the score sheets and entering them into the results file

At the registration you will receive a personal identification card. For every solve you will check in at the Stackmat timer with this card. The judge will confirm your solve with his/her personal identification card. It is also possible to enter penalties and DNF.
